San Jose's "New Orleans Joint". The Poor House is close to the Shark Tank and serves a variety of New Orleans-style food including gumbo, red beans & rice, jambalaya and po' boys. They have live music every night and a regular Jazz Brunch on Sundays.

They often have rock and blues here. Food is sort of Cajun. Down home kind of place, located ina n old house near the train station.

Casual and lively, live blues music nightly, outdoor patio. Has $2 beer tasting every Tuesday night from 6-9pm. The southern casual food fares are not bad, but is a great place to enjoy some live music. Great music too!

They have live music almost nightly. It's Blues and they do serve beer, wine and food.
