This beach is about a 35/40-minute drive from the villa. It is a sandy beach and is equipped with all kinds of establishments. There are many places to eat or have an aperitif. The seafront promenade is quite long, with shops, ice-cream parlours, a cycle path and benches.

Famous is the Teatro Politeama overlooking the"Lungomolo". Worth a visit the Citadel of Carnival, made up of sheds and workshop (where are prepared papier-mâché floats), and the Museum of Carnival. Viareggio has a considerable extension of public green with its "Pine forests", Poniente and the Levant, where are commercial and recreational activities, bike paths, streets and footpaths, sports equipment, restrooms, small tables for picnics.
