Downtown visitors, residents, businesses and SJSU faculty, staff and students now have a little corner of Europe in their backyard with the opening of La Lune Sucrée, a European Pastry Café! Translated to “The Sweet Moon”, La Lune Sucrée’s passion is pastries! In addition to a wide selection of light, flakey and not too sweet pastries baked fresh daily, La Lune Sucrée also serves gourmet sandwiches, sweet and savory crepes, salad, soup, quiche – many of these with vegetarian options; cappuccino, espresso, tea and French hot chocolate in a quaint bistro setting. Cute French bakery in another very cute part of downtown to explore. Delicious baguettes, crepes, etc. Also check out the Philz next door for amazing pour-overs!
