A short drive from Pisa, the mountains of Carrara is open for wonderful hiking experiences. Park your car in Pruno (for example) and start your walk up the mountains. Lots of marked tracks and cosy huts (rifugios) serving warm food.

Da Seravezza è possibile accedere al Parco delle Alpi Apuane. Dai paesi sopra Seravezza (come Stazzema) è possibile accedere a vari sentieri CAI.
