Go and see how Welsh blankets are made with an interesting tour around this working woollen mill. You can also explore the little village with its pretty church & it’s stained glass windows celebrating the lives of Llewelyn the Great & his consort Siwan.

Located in the village - a 5 minute walk from the Old Rectory Cottage, the Trefriw Woollen Mill is a working mill, where during the summer season you can watch hand looming. It's definitely worth visiting the shop for the fabulous throws and fabrics

Trefriw Woollen Mills manufacture Welsh bedspreads, travel rugs and tweeds from the raw wool using vintage machinery. See the looms and water powered turbine. Garments, accessories and soft furnishings made up in their tapestries and tweeds are available in the shop, plus pure wool knitwear and sheepskin goods.
