You can joint the canal in Holcombe Rogus our nearest village. the canal it total is 11 miles to Tiverton. Perfect for a walk, cycle or canoe. (we have one you are welcome to borrow). there are two pubs on route if you wanted to incorporate them. The global in Sanford peverell or The hickory in Halberton

Just down the road from Wayflowers is the Great Western Canal with its horse down barge and boat hire.

The Great Western Canal Country Park is within walking distance of our Devon getaway. It hosts one of the last of the countries horse drawn canal boats. It's a beautiful spot for a scenic walk, has a gated children's park and there are tea rooms to stop and get a bite to eat along the way.
