I love this place. I believe it is temporarily closed due to the Covid, but when it is open, it is a beautiful library to wander through. It also has a great selection of local Galveston historical items on display and a wonderful children's section. (They also have one of the best used book sales in the country which I assume is also on hold due to the Covid, but if you are a book-lover keep an eye out for it!)

The Rosenberg Library is the oldest public library in Texas and is truly in jewel. Do you want to learn about the Island? This is the place to visit. Everybody that works at the library is passionate about the Island. And if you are traveling with young folks it is a perfect destination to hang out on a rainy day. Located at 2310 Sealy Street
