A scenic, easy to medium gradient trek, suitable for those who are relatively fit. An ancient hillfort. Stunning 360 degree views from the summit on clear days, taking in the Llyn Peninsula, Anglesey, Cardigan Bay over to Harlech Castle and if you are lucky Ireland. For my guests without a car, I can at an additional cost offer a tour service for the 2020 season to places which are not easily accessible by public transport. Please enquire when booking.

You can either do a circular walk of about 9 miles from Hen Beudy to visit Tre'r Ceiri or drive to the car park above Nant Gwrtheyrn from where it will only take about 1 hour and three quarters.

Tre'r Ceiri is a hillfort dating back to the Iron Age. The name means 'town of the giants', from cewri, plural of cawr, 'giant'. The settlement is located 450 metres above sea level on the slopes of Yr Eifl, a mountain near Llithfaen. 30 minutes drive from your accommodation

Iron age hillfort one of the largest in Wales. Great views, can be combined with a walk to Yr Eifl.
