Soak up some sunshine and take a dip into the Mediterranean sea at this local beauty spot, a wide pebble beach. You can hire sun loungers and umbrellas, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from for lunch or dinner. To get there, you can drive - there is parking with level access and only a few stairs down to the beach. Otherwise, there is a bus from the village of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi. Expect a bit of traffic. Insider’s Tip: the next cove along is called Recommone. It has its own very pretty beach and a popular restaurant and beach club called La Conca Del Sogno - not cheap but very beautiful - a place to see and be seen - and a hot spot for the yacht crowd! You can walk a coastal pathway to Recommone, or request a boat transfer to the restaurant. Should be booked in advance.
