The Municipality of Fort Erie requires hosts to register with the municipality in order to operate short-term rentals. Hosts are responsible for applying for a registration certificate. Once you submit your registration, the city will review your application. If your application is approved, a license number will be issued, which you’ll need to add to your listing to comply with the requirements.

As a host, you need to understand and abide by other contracts or rules that bind you, including leases, co-op rules, HOA rules, or other rules established by tenant organizations.
