Discover a mix of modernity and history in this re-imagined barn built in the 1870s. The home features original architectural beams and exposed brick, a cozy fireplace, a back porch, wood finishes, a vibrant use of color, and a BBQ.
Acclaimed painter Reginald Marsh's family estate is known to be unique for Woodstock with its ball shaped junipers, a pond that brackets the house, expansive lawns, a gathering of birches and 100 year old cone shaped cedar trees. Today the 800sft architect-renovated former carriage house of the estate is an updated space decorated in a warm mid-century featured as Freshgrub unique property, and most recently at Icon Design Magazine. The Carriage House comes with views to the stream and a private swim hole with waterfall, outdoor dining with charcoal grill and multiple outdoor lounge areas.
Summer at the Barn is like summer camp but with comfortable beds and AC. Grill epic meals, go on hikes, relax on the hammock and enjoy our 4 acres with stream, fire pit & pond. End the day with a refreshing outdoor shower and s'mores at the fire pit. And if you must work remotely, we have wifi & cel reception. The Barn shares the property with our home. *Please read the Barn's full description below and House Rules (click Show All...) before booking*
