We will prepare Italian dishes together, I'm a Personal Chef and I'll be happy to share with you my best recipes. This is not a fixed menu experience, let me know what interests you, and I'll match with the other participants' needs and define which dishes we will prepare, examples (not limited to) are: Pasta, Lasagna, Gnocchi, Ravioli, Risotto, Pesto, Parmigiana, Caponata, Ossobuco, Involtini, Cannoli, Tiramisù, Panna cotta, Zabaione. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, discover how Italian cuisine can accommodate your dietary requirements. Whenever possible, we will use organic ingredients, coming mainly from local farms. As my home is located in the Ticino Natural Park, you will enjoy the beautiful natural environment and we will have lunch in the woods, literally, enjoying food and complimentary beer or wine. Outside my property we will be able to have a walk in the woods trying to spot the different animals that live in there: foxes, hares, dormouses, wild boars, buzzards, cuckoos, woodpickers etc. In case of adverse weather conditions lunch will be held in the living room of my home that has large windows overlooking the woods. I speak Italian, English and French, if guests speak different languages, English will be used. Other things to note bring your camera, your hunger and the willingness of learn how to cook italian dishes, that's all !

We will walk together in amazing woods just few steps from Como downtown, but nearly unknown to the tourists and also to a lot of people that live here. During the walk, on trails between Italy and Switzerland, we will tell you romantic and adventurous stories of the smugglers that for centuries have brought goods from one side of the border to the other, pursued by border patrol of the two countries. These are the stories of epic deeds that our families told us since we were children. Walking among these very beautiful landscapes, with breathtaking views of the city and Lake Como, we will show you the places where pursuits and small battles took stage and we will narrate you the heroic stories, between history and legend, of the most popular local smugglers. We will also tell you the adventurous and dramatic gestures of men and soldiers that built and lived in the trenches and fortifications along the border. Absorbed in a marvelous nature you will discover secret passages along the border, old abandoned barracks, foxholes, hideaways and adventurous paths suspended among the two countries. Other things to note You can arrive in Chiasso or in Como in 30mins by train; contact us, we will give you all the info to reach the meeting point. Trekking shoes, rain jacket, a bottle of water are strongly recommended.

Vi accompagnerò alla scoperta del Lago Maggiore da un prospettiva diversa: assaporare il lago nei suoi molteplici aspetti. We Start in Arona (45mins by train from Milan) at 19.00, passing through Angera where you can enjoy its beautiful castle (Rocca d'Angera). Then go north of the lake admiring the stunning scenery on the lake. Then we go south towards the best point on where to admire the sunset in the Lake, enjoying the stunning colours that the sunset in Lake Maggiore creates (hard to describe the beauty in words so you need to see it for yourself), before returning to our departure point at 21.00 You have the chance to go for a quick swim (optional) at the start of the tour. It is possible to tailor the tour: start in another town, extend the duration of the tour. Contact us in advance to get a quote. Discount available from the 4th person in the same group. If there is a maximum of 3 people and you book a PRIVATE tour you have the option of using our boat as a Boat & Breakfast (included in the price but subject to availability) for 1 night. Please request your will to take the offer when booked. When booking a PRIVATE cruise 1 hour will be added to your tour (so 3 hours total). NOTE that if only 1 people is booked in the tour we will use a smaller boat for the tour to compensate fuel costs and operating in loss.
