Simple, basic & clean 1 bedroom apartment. On an alley (It is noisy= dogs bark and whine, illegal fireworks sometimes, it's by two fire stations, buses & cars w/loud mufflers/bustle of city type living). Street parking at night you might have to park around the corner or down the block. We have a Roku stick so you can watch shows/movies on your own apps. No AC but we have fans. Great place to stay the night while touring SD ! We are 13 blocks from Petco Park, home of the SD Padres.

I am fully honest about traffic noise and dogs barking randomly. Just so you can make the best choice for your needs. Here's the details= The apartment is on an alley behind our house, so there is some city noise, like cars, motorcycles, buses and dogs. Wednesday morning is trash day, that's the only time it will be a little more noisy than normal, just for 5 minutes or so. You can expect it to be clean when you walk in. I disinfect everything upon checkout. Temperature is only an issue on certain days during July and August. If the temperature in SD is above 85, you can expect it to be stuffy during the day in the apartment, but usually people are out and about being tourists! At night it gets cooler usually :) We have a floor heater that heats up the whole room in winter. Usually not necessary in SD. We have street parking only. Our dogs are super friendly ! Feel free to say hi ! ( They are seperated from guests, don't worry.) Nova is the black/gray/white one, she will bark but honestly she is harmless. Cookie is the brown and white one. Cookie is chill, Nova is emotional and high strung but we love her. Please do not choose us if you have race issues, think the wall was a great idea and if you have problems with equal rights for gay and transgender persons. We do not need that kind of energy around our property. We like living here, so close to the action of downtown ( 15 blocks from East Village/Gaslamp) but more of a Victorian home type neighborhood. And the families we are surrounded by are wonderful.....we love them and all our neighbors ! We are so grateful :)

We love our neighborhood. The best Mexican food is at Aldalbertos on Market and 25th st. El BBQ is so good too, on the opposite corner. On 14th and Market you will find a really great Albertson's grocery store. Crossing over to 25th and B St you will find the famous Luigi's Pizza and a swanky bar called The Turf Sipper Club. And of course 1 mile away is the Gaslamp and East Village, a very fun area for food and drinks and shopping ! Be sure to also go to the top of Grant Hill Park, J St and 26th St. The view of the bridge is amazing !!!!! Be sure to drive across the Coronado Bridge! We love our neighborhood, we are so happy to live here in Sherman Heights.
