Fully renovated 1860 house in Dutchess County, 2 miles off the Taconic, in the historic hamlet of Beekmanville. 5 acres of property bisected by the Fishkill Creek, huge patio, fire pit, & wood-burning stove. No car? For a $50 cash fee, I'll pick your group up at the Pawling Metro North station, take you to the local grocery store, & drop you back at the station at the end of your stay. I can do this for a maximum of 4 guests. 6-8 guests = $85 fee, as I will need to hire a second driver.
Our home was built in 1872 and is used to welcoming guests. In the early 1900's it was a bed&breakfast called Cedarhurst Farm. We are situated at the center of Dutchess County, about one and a half hour north of New York City. This puts you within easy reach of many places of interest in all directions. Beautiful rural towns like Rhinebeck, Hudson, New Paltz at the foothills of the mountainous Catskill area and the artist community of Beacon, to name a few.
