Hidden Pubs of London
Join us for a 3hr historical stumble down the "street of shame". Starting in the shadow of the iconic St.Paul's cathedral, we explore the tiny backstreets and rambling courtyards the ancient City of London is famous for. We follow in the drunken footsteps of literary greats including Dickens, Shakespeare, Pepys & Johnson whilst pausing for a drink in at least 4 of the most historic pubs dating as far back as the 1500's. From discovering art nouveau gems to glamorous Victorian gin palaces we enjoy a variety of pub styles and breweries along the way. It's not a prescriptive tour, so you choose & pay for your drinks along the way. We're here to offer recommendations, and you can often "sip before you sup" with a few tasters on request from the bars along the way. This allows you to indulge as much or as little as you desire! Non-drinkers can soak up the history, and wine & gin-lovers are also well catered for. We usually finish up on the edge of Covent Garden perfect for theatre-land, restaurants and of course more pubs including one that claims to be the most haunted in London!
Other things to note
Guests are recommended to be over 18 years of age to enjoy the walk at its best. Anyone lucky enough to look under 25 years of age should bring photo ID.
N.B. We have a small number of hosts running these walks so you might be meeting up with Chris, Mark, Wil or Kevin
Pub Tour of Notting Hill & Kensington
We’ll take a guided tour of the most interesting and characterful pubs in London's Notting Hill and Kensington. We’ll venture away from the tourist routes and explore the backstreets, where the local people drink. These are the same pubs that I still enjoy visiting with my friends and they are well known for their fine beers and good food.
We’ll sample the wide variety of wonderful, British, traditional, full-flavoured cask ales (the original craft beers) and modern craft beers that are on offer and experience the friendly atmosphere of these unique establishments.
NB. Other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, will also be available.
Marvel at the immaculately maintained Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture of these charming neighbourhoods. Spot the numerous blue plaques, identifying the one-time residences of persons of historical interest, such as the detective novelist and playwright, Agatha Christie and American poet, Ezra Pound, and see the home where the triple-Oscar-winning actor, Daniel Day-Lewis, was born. Savour the abundant varieties of plants and trees, as well as the wonderful architectural diversity of the local churches, as we walk between pubs, in what are arguably the most stunningly beautiful neighbourhoods of inner London.
This is a highly social experience, so bring a SENSE OF HUMOUR and an OPEN, FRIENDLY AND POSITIVE ATTITUDE!

Ethiopian Food and Coffee tour in Shepherd’s Bush
Shepherd’s Bush in West London is home to a thriving Ethiopian community, with many shops and cafés and even hair salons dedicated to Ethiopian culture. Over two and a half hours I will introduce you to my Ethiopian heritage within the historic Shepherd’s Bush Market.
We will begin our adventure by meeting one of the market’s traders and sip a delicious juice known for its medicinal properties.

Day trip from London to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge & Bath
Beyond London, you will immerse in different stories and vibes of top famous places in England including Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath in 1 day.
• Windsor Castle
In this royal residence at Winsor, we will go through the lavish State Apartments to discover the King’s Rooms, Queen’s Rooms or world-famous artworks. And visit St. George’s Chapel, the final resting place of King Henry VIII or Queen Elizabeth II and the setting for many royal weddings.
• Stonehenge
Was Stonehenge a temple for sun worship, a healing centre, a burial site or perhaps a huge calendar? How did our ancestors manage to carry the mighty stones from so far away and build this remarkable structure using only the most primitive of tools? Surrounded by mystery, Stonehenge never fails to impress us.
• Bath
Lastly, we will explore the first city in England to be designated an UNESCO World Heritage site. The gorgeous Georgian architecture of Bath Abbey or romantic Pulteney Bridge will linger on in the memory of your day.
Especially, you cannot miss Roman Baths, the preserved bathing complex still flowing with water from Britain’s only hot spring. Be ready to marvel at the dazzling torch–lighting ceremony as dusk falls (not applicable in summer) and have a sip of Bath’s waters in the Pump Room adjacent to the Roman Baths.
Estimated arrival time back in London is around 8:00 pm.

We will start at Trafalgar Square and hear about its history and then move on to see the pomp and pageantry of the Changing of the Queen's Life Guard. We then walk along The Mall to St James' Palace and Clarence House where I will tell you tales of Princes William and Harry the night before William's wedding. Next is a short walk to Buckingham Palace where you will have more opportunities to take photos and hear stories of the Royal household. We then walk into picturesque St James' Park where there is a chance to pause (kiosk available for drinks) and look at gifts presented to me by members of the Royal family. On the way to Parliament Square I will tell you all about the Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament and Big Ben). The final part of the walk takes us along Whitehall, past Downing Street (home of the Prime Minister) and then to the spot where King Charles 1st was executed. We will finish back at Trafalgar Square
Other things to note
If on the 2pm walk we will see a shortened Guard change at 4pm.
We will have an opportunity on the way for a short stop for you to buy drinks and visit a toilet.
