Shute Hill Woods & the surrounding area provide footpaths through woodland & rolling countryside. There are two pubs within a 20 minute walk as well as an excellent farm shop full of local produce. The nearby town of Axminster has a large supermarket, fishmonger, butcher, restaurants & cafes. Lyme Regis & other beaches along the Jurassic Coast are all just a short drive away.

'The Old Forge' Holiday Cottage near Lyme Regis

The Cottage was converted in 2020, the original building is a Victorian Smithy. The property has the charm of an old cottage but is modern, stylish and light and airy. It is detached and so private, with two gardens and a meadow, a stream runs through the gardens. It is delightful to spend time at the Old Forge. There is an area to barbecue or have a fire outside. For bookings during school holidays there is a 'one week' minimum stay with changeover day on a Friday
