Sightseeing

Lots of our guests are eager to explore Conwy Castle and we do suggest that you do. Why not leave the car at home and take the walk down to the main road and cross over on to the coastal foot path. It is a half an hour walk to Conwy along the coastal path and you will take in some lovely views along the way of the estuary and out to sea. There are some lovely shops, cafe's and the quay is to die for. There you will also find the smallest house in the UK!

City/town information

Llandudno is regularly voted in the top three seaside towns in the UK. It is a beautiful town and the main attraction is the Victorian Pier. Recently the owners have brought a huge ferris wheel to the pier and it is well worth a trip. The long promenade is beautiful, stretching for nearly two miles. There is also the beautiful Great Orme which you may drive around (for a fee) or walk around, but it is 3 miles so your stamina will be tested! Your may see some of the stunning wildlife or view across to Ireland, Scotland, Isle of Man and on a god day..Blackpool tower.

Neighbourhoods

Deganwy village is small, vibrant but very well loved by locals. There are a scattering of cafe's and restaurants but more importantly you have a beautiful little beach. When we say little, it is! Follow the coastal path to the North and there is a beautiful promenade, where locals and visitors alike stop to talk and watch the stunning sunsets...there is even a little kiosk run by local resident Sue...pop and see here and stop for a chat. Or you may want to walk up to see the long since destroyed Vadre....a former castle high on the hill above the village. It is easily reached via a brisk uphill walk from about 25 mtrs outside the front door.
