Family house in a small village at the Byglandsfjord. The house has it's charm. It's not super modern or new, but it is glad in families, summer and laughter. It's bright and colorful. It is your base for adventures or a cozy place for rainy days. The surroundings want to be explored and you can take a refreshing swim in the fjord. There should be everything you need. Svært spesielt og gjennomført tømmerhus i setetesdalstil. Huset har strandlinje mot Otra og spektakulær utsikt mot Reiårsfossen som ligger like ved. Lag en god middag på det store kjøkkenet i huset eller se om ungene tør å bade i den litt kalde elva. Ta bilen opp eller nedover Setesdalen og besøk ulike action-attraksjoner eller opplev utsikten og stillheten oppe på heia. Om kvelden kan dere se om dere ser beverparet på den andre siden av elva, og sove i innebygde, rosemalte senger.

Hiking, cycling, swimming, minigolf, frisbee golf, fishing and climbing within 5 km. In winter more than 100 km of cross-country ski trails and a ski centre with 5 lifts await you. On selected winter weekends there is a cosy, little mountain café (Gluggen Kafé) at the cross-country ski trail. Accsess to cross-country ski trail approx. 50 m from the cottage.
