Vault bathroom. Continental breakfast included. 2.5 hours from Wellington, Napier, Taupo and New Plymouth, 35 minutes to Palmerston North, 20 to Feilding. Handy to the Ruahine ranges tracks (see below for sleeping bag discount). A fabulous diversion encompassing spectacular views - especially if driving to or from the North. You will be staying in the character filled, old Kimbolton BNZ Bank (complete with teller box). I live in the "Managers Quarters" which are through a door from the bank.
