This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

The ideal home base for exploration, right in Keene, center of the High Peaks. Set back off the main strip, this space provides privacy in town. With unrivalled proximity to the mountains, dining and shops are steps away. Resting after exploration is effortless here. With a suspended loft net in a vaulted living space, natural light pours in, while a propane fireplace ensures relaxation. The Cob House: private & unique Adirondack cottage

Handmade cob house lovingly created by us from sand, straw, clay & other found objects. Perfectly unique "glamping" getaway nestled on the edge of the woods & a quiet stream. Close to many Champlain Valley attractions in Essex, NY in Adirondack Park (10 min. from VT ferry, 30 min. from High Peaks). Rustic, private retreat complete with outhouse, cook shelter, wood stove, fire pit, and on outdoor heated shower. Unplug & enjoy! (no Wifi, limited cell service).Cozy launching point for adventure!

The Covered Bridge Cottage- Ausable Riverfront

Situated directly by the Ausable River and surrounded by beautiful vineyards and gardens you will be immersed in nature at any time if the year. It's sure to restore the soul. The gentle rumble of the river is ever present as you look out over the natural beauty. During the summer cool off in the river and come back to the screened in porch for an evening meal. In the winter fire up the pellet stove and get cozy. 15 minutes to Whiteface and Keene and 25 Minutes to Lake Placid.

The Shepherd's Crook at Blue Pepper Farm

Tucked in the woods on our working sheep farm, our off-grid tiny house is the perfect escape and stepping stone into the Adirondack mountains for hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Enjoy the coziness of the Crook between forays into our north country wilderness! What you will find: adventure, peace, quiet, woodstove, candles, down blanket, fire pit, privacy, composting outhouse, firewood for sale. **Please note there is NO electricity and NO running water. Akin to glamping!

A 1900 farmhouse that has been in the family for generations. Recently renovated to accommodate up to 5 guests, it is clean with simple furnishings and a SPECTACULAR VIEW! Located RIGHT ON NYS RTE 86 (close to the road) with easy access to nearby attractions. The house is split in 2 and is designed for 2 families. I rent out "The View" using airbnb exclusively. My wife and I reside in the back portion of the house with a separate entrance and separate parking.

Cascade Brook Cabin

Four season log cabin in the heart of the Adirondack High Peaks region. The cabin is located on 7 private acres next to a beautiful stream that flows down from Cascade Lake. Both Porter and Cascade Mountain trailheads are less than a mile away and are on the 46 High Peaks register. Close proximity to hiking adventures for all abilities- biking trails, fishing, swimming, canoeing and during the winter months: downhill and cross-country ski activities.

Privacy and tranquility on a dead end road. Ten acres on Dart Brook with panoramic views of the High Peaks. Three miles to Keene and five miles to Keene Valley. Best drinking water in the state. Cozy up to the fire pit or the gas fireplace indoors. Double bed in the bedroom. Sofa in living room folds out to a double bed for one or two children (up-charge). Three quarter bathroom. Full kitchen. Dine on the deck or indoors.

The Trailhead

Our guest suite is located on our small horse farm in the foothills of the Adirondacks. The space has a cozy rustic charm, and has everything you’ll need for a quiet mountain getaway in any season. We are located right at the entrance of the Blueberry Hill Trails, a 1000-acre trail system designed for hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Head out the door and you're right on the trails.
