Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

A one-bedroom, single storey secluded property ideal for a quiet getaway for couples or small families. As part of a beautifully converted barn, The Stable has a wealth of original and historical features.

Self contained annex in the heart of Suffolk

The annex at Toad Hall is totally separate. Upstairs is a double bedroom and bathroom, downstairs is a sitting room, small kitchen and a shower room. There is a lovely garden and tennis court which you are welcome to use. We live in close proximity to the towns of Bury St Edmunds, Lavenham and Long Melford. The national nature reserve of Bradfield Woods is a mile away and there are many lovely walks locally. There are good local restaurants if you need a break from cooking
