The Highlands Happy Place is situated in the Historic Whiteside Forrest neighborhood in Highlands, NC. Mountain views from almost every room! Large lower balcony with 4 lounge chairs, hot tub and grill. To the side of the balcony is a fenced in yard great for pets. 9 acres to explore, a fishing pond at bottom of property, and hiking trails all around. The home has easy access to both Highlands, as well as Cashiers, NC. We are excited for guests to fall in love with the area, just as we have!

At 4,100 feet we have hiking, zip lining and waterfalls,romantic winters and summers with temps in the 70's - low 80's. You’ll love this place because of the coziness, warmth and charm of a classic mountain log cabin with all the modern comforts. It is great for couples(and a child), solo adventurers, and business travelers.
