Quiet & comfy Periwinkle Blue Room

We have a large historic home in a lovely small town that we'd love to share with you. Our home was built in 1855 and sits up on a hill surrounded by mature shade trees and gardens. Private upstairs room with a double bed and private bath. Wonderful restaurants, museums, micro brew and shopping in our vibrant downtown that's only a 5 minute walk away. We have ample parking, wireless internet and laundry. The bedroom decor is cottage, lots of blue and white. Recently updated decor. New rug, bedding and comfy chair. The room and bath are at the back wing of our home so are very quiet and private. The bathroom is private with shower and laundry facilities in the room. We have been hosting for 6 years now and are having a great time. Our home is unique because as it is over 160 years old is is comfortable, homey and warm. We are LGBT friendly. ALL are welcome.

Quiet Room in 1855 Victorian home

Our historic home is in the largest historic residential district in the US. We are 3 blocks from a wonderful main street with great shopping. Our town has many museums, parks and restaurants. This room has a queen bed and private bath. The bathroom has original turn of the century fixtures and is very quaint. Bedrooms are located upstairs in the back wing of the house and are very private and quiet. The kitchen is very large (15 x 30) but cozy and is available for your use. We do have cats on site that have no access to guest rooms and are a nonsmoking household. Quiet walkable neighborhood. An amazing architecture walk with map guided tour. The Dark Horse brewery is a quick walk away as is Schulers 100 yr old restaurant. Ample parking. Bicycles available. We can't wait to share our home with you so expect a tour! We are LGBT friendly. 1867 historic home in the city of Marshall, Mi. Bedroom located on the second floor with private sitting room. You can walk among the gardens or sit back by the water feature with a book or beverage. Three blocks from the Fountain and shopping. All walking distance. Great River walk along the Kalamazoo river. Marshall is a great stopover between Detroit and Chicago and Indianapolis and Port Huron. A great small historical town to stop for the evening for dinner and a comfortable bed.
