This little cabin is the perfect place for a quite get away . A country setting where you can enjoy walking trails and a spring fed creek perfect for wading and swimming. At night sit by the fire pit and enjoy the country atmosphere with an abundance of wildlife. The cabin sits on 68 acres you can explore and has 2 bedrooms /1 bath sleeps up to 5. Being located on the AL/ TN line it’s 5 minutes from Interstate 65 ,25 minutes from Huntsville, AL and 1.5 hours to both Birmingham and Nashville .

The aesthetic of the cabin is nostalgic and vintage; meant to transport you to mid-century. The goal of the lake house is to unwind and step away from the hustle bustle. Please note: this private lake is for trolling motors and paddles only, no gas powered motors permitted

We cannot accomodate early check-in or late check-out. Please know check-in starts at 3p, check-out is a firm 10a, no exceptions. Up to 4 guests allowed, no more. You will find that the peace that radiates from the moment you enter the cabin will help you to find the needed rest you long for. The master suite is equipped with an adjunction room that offers a microwave and small coffee maker. Making drinking your coffee or hot tea on the balcony convenient.

Magical Mountain Retreat with Vintage Charm

Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

The Bamboo House

Welcome to Bamboo House. It's a 3br/2ba ranch style house. We call it Bamboo House because of the large bamboo that lines the back of our property. We are conveniently located 5 miles from I-65. It has a kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher and Keurig coffee maker. The master has a Queen size bed with dressers and TV. The master bath has a small stand up shower with closet. The additional bedroom has 2 twin beds with a large closet. There is also a designated office with a large desk.
