Birch Burn Retreat, a former 19th-century church, offers a tranquil escape with forest walks, hammock relaxation and firepit nights. It has electricity, heat pump, wifi, and a simple kitchen with a mini fridge. Accommodations include double/queen beds for four adults or a larger family with camp cots. I now have a dock at the lake for swimming or tanning and a canoe is available for use as well. Ski Martock/Ontree, Bent Ridge Winery are within a 10min drive from Chalet Hamlet.
