Kovalam beach is just 20min drive and 1 hour to Varkala by road, The M.G Road, the city's main commercial hub, Shopping malls, Kerala University, Palayam market, hospitals, supermarkets, banks, offices and the Government Secretariat are 7km there as are the International airport (3 km), Domestic airport (1.5 km), and the Railway Station & Bus Station (both 8 km) and 15km to the IT hub, Technopark.
