Great cocktails, v handsome and friendly staff! Capel Street is a great street to wander down, it has all sorts of shops from cafes to sex shops. Traditionally associated with textiles (as was lots of Dublin), there's a huge variety of businesses there.

Marsh’s Library was founded in the early eighteenth century by Archbishop Narcissus Marsh (1638-1713).Designed by Sir William Robinson (d.1712) the Surveyor General of Ireland, it is one of the very few 18th century buildings left in Dublin that is still being used for its original purpose. Many of the collections in the Library are still kept on the shelves allocated to them by Marsh and by Elias Bouhéreau, the first librarian, when the Library was opened.

Erected in the early thirteenth century on the site of a Viking settlement, Dublin Castle served for centuries as the headquarters of English, and later British, administration in Ireland. In 1922, following Ireland’s independence, Dublin Castle was handed over to the new Irish government. It is now a major government complex and a key tourist attraction. Well worth a visit, and a tour - there's so much history here!
