Romantic setting
It is built into the cliffs with the ocean waves breaking below, musicians playing wonderful music up a cliff outcropping, and food and service is very good too. El Farallon is most memorable for the location, music, and experience. If you can, try to book a table by the edge/ocean though I have only once had a wave below blow some spray (not too much though) when the sea was highly agitated, but the crashing of the waves and the beauty looking out over the ocean and the view down to Lands End with the lit walkway and other lights lighting up the beach down the shore, is very picturesque.

Diego plays the piano and can sing Louis Armstrong well, while Daline has an incredible voice and sings Jazz, oldies (40's) and most songs that everyone loves. Her voice is rich and strong. They play at various venues in Cabo nearby and at Cerritos beach on Sunday afternoons

Good breakfast places include The Cabo Bakery and Mama Royale. The Cabo Bakery can be reached by taking the Pueblo Bonito inter resort that takes you from The Market Place at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Resort to Pueblo Bonito Rose which is within a short walk to The Cabo Bakery. Mama Royal is a nice 2 mile or so walk from your villa, or short taxi ride there. It is about 2 blocks in from where the tourist marina/wharf area is but at the south side of the Wharf/marina.

Within the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Resort / Quivira complex, shuttles can take you between Copala and any number of restaurants/lounges/pools/tennis courts/golf as part of the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Resort, Quivira Golf Clubhouse, Pacifica hotel (adult only), and Montecristo Estates. Best to call ahead and make a reservation for the shuttle to pick you up at a certain time.

Rental Car
If renting a car, I highly recommend Alamo (online booking). They are the most professional without a lot of arm twisting for timeshare tours. I have tried most of the other car rental places and often times I am there for more than an hour trying to get the price I signed up for without them “forcing” me into a timeshare tour. You will have to accept the MX liability insurance (at around $20/day) but Alamo, over the past 4 years, has been easy to deal with unlike the prior car companies where I left without renting a car, brought back to the airport or left walking to other car rental comp

Spas on premises
Although I love the Montecristo spa – deep tissue massage by Nadia and its hot tub/sauna, The Pacifica spa has a great waterfall pummeling down (for your shoulders or neck) and a cold plunge pool if you like to do the hot/cold thing. The Sunset Beach Resort Spa is also very nice as to its lounge for relaxation and its pilates/yoga instructors and workout facility. As a Copala guest, you get use of all PB/Quivira resort restaurants and spas.

fireworks
Be on the lookout for fireworks. Often times, while there, I would hear booming once darkness came and would look out on my deck and see a wonderful display of fireworks (arranged by some wedding family or event). Your deck is central to all activity below. You might want to check with the Concierge to see if he/she can find out from the Sunset or Pacifica event folks to see if any such fireworks are planned for the week.

As for Happy Hour at the resort, there are typically several pool areas that offer discount drinks during one period of time in the day, another following up that time with their happy hour so you can pool hop to enjoy discount drinks (or at least they used to do that).

Shuttles between resorts and within complex/resort
To get to the marina (without a rental car), take the shuttle to The Market at Quivira (again, at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Resort) then take the big inter resort bus that takes guest to the Pueblo Bonito Rose and Blanco located along the Sea of Cortez side of Cabo. It is free. Once you get off, there are several options:
1. Walk to the Marina which is only about 3-4 blocks away. There are many shopping places from home-created arts and crafts (toward the Lands End or south side of the wharf near Senor Frog or where the cruises let off the tourists. There are many restaurants there.
