The park of roses is beautiful almost any time of year. For our guests who bring dogs, the adena brook ravine just south and east of the shelterhouse is an unofficial off-leash dog park and is beautiful (apart from the heartbreaking erosion that has blighted the ravine in the past few years due to massive development and insufficiant sewer system.
