Topanga State beach is just down the road! Perfect place to watch surfers, catch the sunset and relax. Grab a bottle of wine or beer and hike to the top of tuna canyon. There is a beautiful view, with a bench to relax on, of Santa Monica, Catalina Islands, Palos Verdes, downtown Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Mountains. The trailhead and parking is just up the road 2 miles from the cabin. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/tuna-canyon-trails Also Topanga State Park has access to some of the most beautiful trails in LA. The Getty Villa is close by on the PCH and is a must see! A very special place. https://www.getty.edu/visit/villa/ The Broad is downtown LA but worth the trek if you are into contemporary art. https://www.thebroad.org The LACMA is world famous and another must if you are an art lover. https://www.lacma.org
