Our place has a bohemian charm and is situated in an atmospheric old city house, filled with art and good vibes. Based in the heart of Limassol’s old town within a very quiet neighborhood, offering the best of both worlds. Within walking distance from great amenities (convenience stores, museums, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, sea promenade, bus stations, main shopping street and just a 2 min walk to the beach).
This is 25 square meter self-contained studio is with its own entrance, has one double bad, one double sofa bad, has own kitchen, dining area, living area and office table and own bathroom and balcony.
Is situated on the first (top) floor of a beautiful 80-year-old city house recently renovated. On the same floor is as one more private flat (ours) and art workshop studio. All corridors and stairs and all spaces are of course filled with art. If you like art this house is just perfect for you to visit and explore. :) Great for artists and art related, couple or couple with a child, or individuals who are looking for quiet place to relax or work.
Even though the house is situated in the center of town, we are located on a quiet street offering the best of both worlds in a very friendly and welcoming neighborhood without much traffic passing through.
There are several interesting art studios in the neighborhood for you to explore. I will be more than happy to share and recommend artists, their workshops, contemporary dance studios, galleries, museums, archaeological sites and churches for you to visit.
:) You can start with my studio inside the house. I will be more than happy to show you around.
Next door to our house my friend has great pottery workshop.
Just around the corner, there is a beautiful Limassol Public Library situated in a historical building with the most extensive collection of art books in Cyprus. In the same square around the corner, just opposite the library, is a big supermarket and fruit market and there are many other convenience stores nearby. The public beach and sea promenade are within a 2 min walk. A 1 min walk will get you to the Municipal Folk Museum, the beautiful Agia Triada church, and you can reach the bustling Heroes' square within 2 mins, which houses Rialto theater (showing many international performances/festivals and NT live shows) the Dance House and one of the island's best cocktail bars.
Just a 7 min walk to Limassol Archaeological Museum, 2 min walk to the city bus station, a 5 min walk to the intercity bus station, and a 10 min walk to the new Marina and old Castle area. There is an array of coffee shops dotted around and some great breakfast/ brunch places all within walking distance. The central shopping street Anexartisias is a short 5 min walk away. There are great traditional restaurants around too, also offering healthy food, vegetarian and vegan options.
You can visit remote beaches, other cities, towns and explore the beautiful mountainous regions and their picturesque villages. The excellent climate offers travelers many opportunities to enjoy walks, bike rides and hikes as well as an array of water sports like surfing, SUP, windsurfing and diving. You will soon discover your favorite places and activities, and we will be delighted to recommend ours.
I have been living in Cyprus for the last 20 years. Cyprus has a fascinating and very long history, diverse culture, beautiful landscapes and fantastic food. Although this island is small, it is big in heart. The most amazing aspect of Cyprus is the people who live here. Native Cypriots are the warmest and friendliest people you could meet. They project their hospitality and ease of living on everyone. Cypriots are only judgmental about themselves and love to joke about it. You will love them instantly. As an island with a history of being under colonial rule, Cyprus is very multicultural. Here, people of all origins have learnt to love and live with each other, harvesting the best of all cultures, celebrating life and humanity with a great sense of respect and generosity. You will feel like you have found a new home here.
This is also why so many artists love being based in Cyprus, which nurtures a lively art scene composed of internationally established, contemporary artists and dancers, as well as traditional artists.
