The Kindred is full of beauty, art and light, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking gardens that shift & change with every season. This stylish, warm and very spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is located in Braddon in the inner North of Canberra: an easy stroll to the foodie, maker & creative mecca that is Lonsdale street, the city centre just a block away from there. Yet The Kindred is tucked away from the bustle on the top floor of a quiet, boutique and upmarket complex.

Enjoy 120sqm of light-filled, curated apartment living, kept toasty warm through the cooler months with underfloor heating.

Bedrooms
The master bedroom has a luxurious king-sized bed and an ensuite with step-in shower and bath. The second bedroom has a split king bed that can be made up as either a second king-sized bed or two long single beds: please advise your preference upon booking.

The bedrooms are separated by the second bathroom so have plenty of privacy. Both bedrooms are spacious with large built-in wardrobes and have lovely, leafy and bright outlooks. We use beautiful French flax linen bedding on all our beds.
If you're in Canberra to work, the second bedroom has a lovely desk and chair.

Living
There are plenty of places to sit and lie down, with a daybed drenched in morning sun, and a curated collection of furniture, books and art. We take pride in showcasing a growing collection of art and ceramics from Canberra region creatives. Enjoy Netflix, read a book or just lie back on the sofa and watch the elm tree sway in the breeze. The living room opens up onto a spacious balcony with outdoor table and chairs where you can sit under the tree canopy in the dappled sunlight.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, tea and sugar. It has a 4 burner gas stove, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. Coffee's important, we know, so you have two choices: between our Nespresso machine with biodegradable pods, or a stroll through Haig Park to Lonsdale Street where you can hit up one of the baristas there.

Bathroom
The second bathroom comes off the open plan dining and living area, with a separate toilet and a large bathroom with a shower and laundry facilities.

Parking
There's visitor parking right out the front of the apartment entry. There's also a dedicated carpark for the apartment in the secure underground parking area, where there are also additional visitor parking spaces. If you're coming in two cars, we provide two parking remotes so you can both access the underground carparks.

Braddon is a lively, central and attractive part of Canberra that's a terrific base for both work and leisure travellers. Lonsdale Street, located just a short stroll through Haig Park from The Kindred, is home to a great selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and boutique shops. Just one block further is Canberra's CBD.
