Hidden away in the hills of Mid Wales, our property is a semi detached barn conversion located on the end of the courtyard on our family run farm.

The Coach House Cottage offers guests access to the grounds orchard, wildlife and fishing lakes with 100’s of acres of surrounding countryside and woodland to wander.

There are country lanes leading to historical castles, villages and market towns in the hills and valleys of the welsh borderlands.

There are 2 private parking spaces allocated to guests directly in front of the property.

Guest access:

Ground floor
- Utility room with washing machine, fridge-freezer, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, ironing board & iron.
- Kitchen/dining/living area with bespoke feature wooden beam staircase. Kitchen is equipped with electric oven, hob, microwave kettle and toaster as well as dining and cooking essentials. The living area hosts a reclining sofa, soft furnishings and a smart TV with Netflix installed ready for a cozy night in. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors installed and tested regularly.

First floor
- Bedroom furnished with double bed & plenty of storage. 2 built in wardrobes with hangers, dresser and bedside tables.
Fresh linen and towels provided.
- Bathroom with electric shower, toilet, basin, LED illuminated mirror & heated towel rail.

Welcome hamper included with tea / coffee & local fresh milk and eggs from our neighbouring farms. (Honesty box located a 5 min walk away if you want more!)

You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside and the array of wildlife on our doorstep, whilst not being to far from local attractions.

Our closet village is Abermule located 1.5 miles away. There is a shop and pub in the village.
You will find restaurants, shops, castles, museums, theatres within a short drive including those situated in the following local market towns-

Newtown 5.9 miles
Montgomery 6.8 miles
Welshpool 11 miles

Guests who wish to venture further on a day out could find themselves at the coast in just over an hour, with Aberystwyth 49 miles away.
Cadir Idris located in Snowdonia National Park is 60 miles from us, the stunning drive will get you to the mountain where hikers can take in breathtaking views.

Hi I’m Lois,

Myself and partner Sean are very keen travellers currently at 30 countries and counting! We love meeting new people, all things outdoors and the ocean. Hobbies include paddle-boarding & snorkelling on our beach trips. Our latest project is a camper van conversion we’re hoping to take us all around the country.

Currently starting my new venture hosting guests in our self contained annex on my parents farm in Mid Wales.
When visiting us expect a warm welcome to our home & my guaranteed best efforts to make your stay comfortable and share my knowledge of the local area.
When travelling we enjoy learning the history & culture of new places, as well as trying new foods and obscure adventures.
