If you're looking for a small, clean, cozy place to stay while fishing at Swepco Lake, coming to visit JBU students this farm setting where you can watch the ponies, cattle, and deer is the right place for you. The Ranch is an ideal place for anyone wanting to experience the simple life in a quiet efficiency barn apartment.

The Ranch has many amenities that will make your stay comfortable. Guests will find a fun kitchenett allowing enjoyable meals to be cooked at the guests leisure. Our kitchenette cupboards will provide coffee for our coffee drinkers, hot cocoa for the littles, and warm teas for afternoon treats. The frige is small but provided for your convenience to bring a small amount goodies to have while enjoying the country living. i do not suggest bringing frozen food the freezer is little to none. We encourage exploring the outdoors by building a fire for s'mores under the stars or a hot cup of coffee on the porch! Stay in bed and snuggle while the fireplace brings a relaxing aspect that is rarely found in our busy lives.

The Ranch is conveniently located 28 miles west of XNA Regional Airport. The YUMMY famous Wooden Spoon restaurant is 7 miles from our location. Open from 1030-2 M-F and Friday nights for Catfish 5-9 (get there early) I recommend ANY dessert. Downtown Siloam Springs has lots of fun places but I recommend trying 28 Springs Steak 4 miles from The Ranch. If you want to keep healthy Stop in 5 miles away at Modern Day Nutrition for a healthy Shake or Tea (tell Morgan I sent you for a Hot Cocoa shake or the Panther Pride tea). John Brown University is also only 4 miles. Swepco Lake is 1/2 mile, with good fishing and a boat dock for easy lake access. If you love the water try going 8.5 miles to the City of Siloam Springs Kayak park for the day. Pioneer Pizza is just minutes away in Gentry (my favorite is the Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwhich comes with chips and a pickle) These are just a few of our LOCAL favorites. If you love hiking just 4 mile the Eagle Nest nature walk provides a great trail to spot Eagles. If you are looking for more of a private hike we have access to 280 acres just 4 miles west of The Ranch with running water to make the hike refreshing, and adventurous seeing lots of wildlife. The Ranch is only 30 minutes from major metropolitan areas if you want big store shopping, eating, hiking, or museums. Because we have many animals we politely ask that you do NOT bring ANY ANIMALS. You will be asked to leave; this does includes ALL service animals, it cause a health hazard for our own animals and we pride ourselves on safety first as well as an agitation and stress to our chickens and goats. We have been EXEMPT from having to host any animals INCLUDING SERVICE ALL service dogs because of this. Thank you for understanding.

Welcome!
We are a family of 4 that loves the country life. I am a stay at home mommy with a nursing degree and am currently working on my real estate license. My husband and I have been married 19 years and have worked hard for the things God has blessed us with. We are excited to share some of our Utopia with you in our small but cozy studio barn. This provides a "camping" environment with all the indoor amenities. We welcome campfires for s'mores, fishing, hiking, pony petting, goat petting and a perfect place to just relax. The loft queen size bed is perfect for the littles if you decide to bring them along! I am happy to help you be comfortable for a peaceful stay!
