A quiet newly built retreat with private 4 piece ensuite bathroom, modern design & patio doors to your balcony. Ideal for guests needing peace, and tranquility. Nature lovers will not be disappointed. 5* cleaning standards. Two guest rooms on upper floor available for separate booking, one called Lakeview and the other Silo. perfect for friends who travel together being able to share a kitchenette while each still having their own separate space for your bedroom and private ensuite.

Host is an experienced certified Sommelier and is happy to share winery/wine information with you. The kitchenette is equipped w/ with a small dining table to enjoy your lunch/dinner (there is also a table in your room). You will also find a microwave, mini fridge, toaster oven, toaster, kettle, plates, glasses. Awesome wine glasses (varietally correct and a decanter.) Excellent location close to all N.O.T.L. restaurants, Wineries and even hiking trails. right around the corner from Gretzky's and surrounded by many other wineries and restaurants.

Whipple tree house is a bike ride away from multiple wineries like Gretzkys, Trius, Pilliterri, Between the Lines, Bella-Terra, the list keeps going and going. There is a local sports bar within walking distance, a breakfast restaurant, a dessert place that's incredibly good called the Pie plate. Most of the Virgil restaurants are within walking distance so there's lots to do. Downtown NOTL is a short bike ride or drive away. It's about 5 minutes to drive to main street for a show at the Shaw Festival Theatre or have more fun and take a leisurely bike ride for a daytime shopping spree to our unique shops. So many things to do, We look forward to hosting you at Whippletree bnb.

Our names are John, Shelly and Biggy (our chocolate lab). We have lived in NOTL for close to 25 years. I am a Sommelier and I work in the area. My husband John and I fell in love with Niagara on the lake the very first time we came here and decided this is where we wanted to grow our family. Now that our kids are older and have moved on, We decided we wanted to share our beautiful Niagara with others. We built a new house with this in mind and now we are ready to share our Natures Paradise with You! Our new house has 2 guest rooms on the upper floor with a kitchenette separating the bedrooms. They are listed separately, one is lakeview and the other is silo. Both rooms have their own private ensuite. Both rooms also have patio doors for direct access to the upper deck overlooking the waterway. I have a great time watching the fish jump and the turtles swimming. What I find the most stunning is bird watching from the balcony. Last week we had a bald eagle that was sitting in the trees across the water. There are too many birds to count, a few that I have seen daily are blue herons and white cranes. We even have our very own Ground Hog who pops in occasionally who we have lovingly nicknamed Benson. Biggy (the Chocolate Lab) is 11 years old and he is a retired St. John Ambulance Dog. He is a little slow moving now as he is beginning to get up there in age. He is not allowed upstairs so he does not come into your space. If you want to see him you will need to come down to the main area to visit him. He loves people so please say hi if you like dogs! He has a doggie door so he is allowed outside whenever he want's but is limited to the back yard only. He may sneak up on you for a fuss if you are in the back yard! Please know there is open water in the back yard and if you choose to use it, it is at your own risk. We do have paddle boats for you, but you need to arrange to get a life jacket from us before you venture out. To get to your rooms, Your access is through the front door and up the stairs. Your room has its own August lock for privacy, and the kitchenette is shared. Once Air bnb books your room, a day before your arrival we will send you your personal access code for august smart keys (if you request it from us) or we will leave a physical key in an envelope addressed to you in the foyer. Our house is built with Air bnb in mind. You can feel at ease about the clean air in the house as We had the builder install an air ventilation system that brings in fresh air from outside 100% every hour on the hour while still maintaining heat and/or air-conditioning. This system allows for fresh & clean air 247. We have both been fully vaccinated for covid 19 and we have a professional cleaner who has worked for us for over a decade and Debbie is very good at her job. She is bonded and has been waiting very patiently to prepare your space for you :)
