Within walking distance and down some steps is a quiet beach area where guests can enjoy swimming, various fishing spots, free use of a double kayak or a coast walk to the wharf for fish & chips, tide dependant.

Atarau Beach Retreat

Relax and unwind in this beautiful studio apartment. Enjoy the view of Moonlight Bay, and the tranquil surrounds of native bush and bird song. Take the private walkway to the bay for a swim, or see it from a different perspective using the kayaks provided for guests. Vibrant Raglan township is a quick five minute car trip (or enjoy the 30 minute walk), where you can find great restaurants, cafes, beaches, and other amenities. Walk along the beach to The Wharf for fish and chips at low tide.

Let us share our dream with you! Our home has recently been completed and offers stylish and open plan living with water access 30m away. Watch the children paddle board and swim whilst you relax on our large deck overlooking the peaceful estuary at Rangitahi. A walking track in front of the house meanders through the development and passes The Hut cafe 100m up the road. The laid back vibe of Raglan town is a short 20 minute walk away which is filled with trendy shops, cafes and restaurants.

An easy 6 min walk to the surf at Whale bay, Indicators or Outside Indicators a few mins drive to Manu bay or Ngarunui beach. Warm and cosy with a beautiful open fire, modern insulation & large double glazed sliding doors. The heat pump heats the studio within 15mins.

Fresh, clean, self contained studio apartment suitable for a couple, or a single person. It has it's own deck, and offers ocean and bush views, with a short walk to the foreshore, to Whale Bay, and Indicators surf breaks. Kitchenette, en suite, and outside barbecue set on the ground floor of a two story dwelling. The Apartment has a high stud and retains a natural separation from the main dwelling. Just 1.3 km stroll from town and minutes to the water. Our new studio has it all: ensuite with shower/bath, smart TV, Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, kitchenette with fridge/freezer, and BBQ. Perfect for two, with a sofa bed for extra guests or budget stays. Located beneath our home with private entry — you might hear our young kids (3 & 4) or our friendly lab Max during the day, but evenings are peaceful from 7 pm – 7 am.
