There are two pubs serving food daily and the Marina Bar with its excellent cuisine. A perfect base to explore the salt marsh coast with its extensive walks Maldon is only a short drive away which is a buzzing coastal town

Here at The Lodge pubs/cafes are just up the road or you can relax on the decking with a glass of wine from the local vineyards. Our traditional timber cabin is nestled within the charming countryside of North-East Essex. This rural retreat for two promises a perfect blend of comfort and convenience making it ideal for a relaxing break. The cabin stands alone in our garden with lake and rural views. From the cabin, scenic walks and cycling paths with vast open skies beckon. Nature enthusiasts and dog walkers will be thrilled by the birds and wildlife in our area and the stunning views around the local lakes.
