Bakehouse Cottage - Kauaeranga Valley

A tastefully renovated 1 bedroom, fully self -contained Victorian cottage set in 3.5 acres of tranquil, park-like rural land. The property backs onto the Kauaeranga River, a beautiful clean flowing river with an idyllic swimming hole at the end of the property. The majestic Pinnacles walking track is at the end of the road. The cottage is just 5km from the centre of Thames township; everything is nearby, including the popular Hauraki Rail Trail which is a 3.5km cycle from Bakehouse Cottage.

For larger families or friends we do rent the whole house as an option & price is by negotiation. The ground level has 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 , its own bathroom, lounge and kitchen

Set amongst pohutukawa trees, this original 50's holiday house is located right on Whangamata beach. Enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean from the deck and huge front lawn. The famous Whenuakura (Donut Is.) is opposite as well as Hauturu Motu (Clark Is.), accessible on foot at low tide - a Kiwi rite of passage. Minutes to the local shops, bars and cafes and a short walk to the nearest convenience store. A great children's playground can be found at Island View Reserve at the end of the road.

The North End Studio is a purpose built studio unit, with a separate entrance along a private boardwalk. Located north of Thames along the picturesque Pacific Coast Highway, Te Puru holds one of the great holiday get-away’s, Seaview Cottage. Te Puru is a quiet, peaceful place with great views of the Sunset. Our beautiful 1 bedroom cottage has fabulous modern facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, living-room and bbq area and its only a few steps to the beach. In addition the cottage is within walking distance to the local dairy, parks, boat-ramp and open tennis courts.

Our AirBnB is a separate, self-contained wing of our beautiful new home in Totara, 3kms south of Thames Township and gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula. We are about an hour’s drive from Auckland International Airport and close to the many and varied attractions of the Coromandel and the Waikato Region. Easy access to the Hauraki Rail Trail. From our elevated position there are uninterrupted views over the township, Firth of Thames and the Kauaeranga Valley.

Self contained sleepout with amenities

Three room sleepout with kitchenette, and bathroom with a washing machine. Light and breezy with air conditioning. Situated on quiet cul de sac a few minutes drive to the town or to the beautiful Whangamata beach. A short walk past the RSA and Whangamata Club can take you into town to the shops and restaurants Off road parking available and the property is fully fenced and pet friendly. There is a good sized grass area which is a shared area.
