This recently renovated Welsh cottage with original features, modern appliances and cosy woodburner is situated above the village of Garndolbenmaen, near Porthmadog. This is a perfect, secluded, romantic retreat for two situated along a quiet lane with stunning panoramic westerly views over Cardigan Bay and the Llyn peninsula. The cottage is well-placed to explore Snowdon (30 minutes away), the Llyn peninsula (right in front of you) and the quiet coves and beaches of Anglesey (30 minutes away).

Nestled between the mountains and the sea is Gwêl y Sêr (see the stars). A beautiful cabin where you can switch off and listen to the sounds of nature. On dark nights in winter the milky way can be seen from outside, hence the name. The cabin is located in a central spot in North Wales, we are 2 miles from the closest beach and 1 mile from the mountains. We are also in a central location for access to both zipworlds, as well as close distance to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)

A door leads out to the large private patio and garden area with a hot tub, picnic table and barbecue all of which is placed to enjoy the fabulous views over Cardigan Bay and the Rhinog mountains. Sgubor is fully centrally heated, beds are made up and a bath and hand towel is provided for each guest, and has parking for up to 3 cars, we are dog friendly.

Pen Y Bryn Bach was renovated back in in 2019, the former pig sty has many of its original features however it benefits from a large kitchen space which is ideal for entertaining. The property has private parking, Wi-Fi included and a smart TV with access to streaming sites such as Netflix. The lounge area offers a log burner for those cosy nights in. This location is ideal for couples, families and walkers wanting to get away to the country.
