Nearby waterfall in the little village of Dyserth....if not feeling too energetic go visit here - 20p honesty entrance fee (!), feels deciedly fresh and you can walk to the top of the falls and do a little circuit route...

Beautiful natural waterfall with abailoty to climb to the top and access stunning views. Located in a small village approx 10 minutes drive from the caravan.

The Rhaeadr Ddu Waterfall walk at Ganllwyd near Dolgellau is a short but stunning circular family walk of about 2 miles. It’s like stepping into a beautiful green film set! Start from the little car park on the A470 road on the way into Dolgellau. Cross the road and follow the Afon (river) Gamlan until you reach the impressive double drop waterfall.

A short drive from the properties, 50p entry per person via an honesty box. There’s a walk up to the top of the waterfall which has approx 200 stone steps (some handrails and benches along the way but note this is quite a tiring climb) but there’s also a lovely little garden with picnic benches at the bottom for those who don’t want to climb to the top. There’s also a small cafe who serve icecream, snacks and hot drinks.
