The Asylum Church is the oldest church of Sibiu (it was built even before the big Evangelic church). It is an Orthodox church now and you can visit it inside. Here it was the first hospital of Transilvania as well as of Romania. The buildings surrounding the church have kept their original function and accommodate elder people (it is still an asylum nowadays). You can shoot good photos pf the Asylum Church from the courtyard of the Weinkeller Restaurant, which has access from the Huet Square.
