The Botanics are an oasis of green within the city centre. There’s a particularly scenic Alpine rock garden which is a perfect picnic spot. And it’s free (optional donations).

One of our favourite places to visit. Lots of space for the children to run and explore, cafes to visit, a garden maze and a 100-foot hedge.
