È una vetta rocciosa con due punte caratterizzata da un grande arco naturale aperto tra le due cime che gli dà il nome e che, da sempre, ha attirato scienziati, escursionisti e curiosi. Inoltre ha stimolato la fantasia popolare nella creazione di storie e di leggende sull’origine del foro stesso. La montagna è facilmente raggiungibile con diversi sentieri e, se non si soffre di vertigini, è possibile percorrere anche l’arco sommitale dove in alcuni periodi dell'anno è possibile fare l'altalena. Durante il solstizio d'estate, il sole passa dentro il foro e vengono organizzati eventi per festeggiare questa data.
