The visitor center is worth a visit for the incredible view out the back windows, the head of some Wonderful trails including one that goes to the beach along marshy walkways and boardwalks, great informational maps and brochures and a film on the seashore.

On a rainy day this is a good spot. (Or take a ride out to Provincetown and walk around.) Haven't been there since I was a kid but I remember videos of how the cape was formed plus all kinds of information on the local flora and fauna. Be sure to walk over to Salt Pond and through the woods surrounding the visitor center. But get to the beaches if it's sunny and warm.
