Really interesting plant nursery with spectacular show gardens. Free tea and coffee or visit the nearby Derwen Garden Centre (an associated family business), for an excellent lunch, shop and more plant sales.

Both this place and its parent nursery The Derwen garden are worth a visit if you are interested in gardening. You can combine them with a visit to the gardens at Powis Castle.

This is another must for plant lovers as it is situated just down the road from the Derwen Garden Centre in Welshpool about 45 minutes' drive from us. Not only does it stock a fabulous selection of plants, but it also provides an opportunity to look around the garden (for a small fee). It's a typical nursery without fripperies and the staff are incredibly helpful.
