This is one of two pubs in Little Stretton. We had a delicious meal there and can highly recommend it along with some of our previous guests and neighbours. They serve seasonal food and pay particular attention to their vegetables both in terms of quality and presentation. It has a real country pub feel and the locals and landlady are very friendly. The food and drink aren't cheap compared with our side of the hill but that's probably to do with the different demographics. Check out the menu on their website and as with all our local pubs, you definitely need to book if you would like to take advantage of the Sunday lunch. Always check the opening times or ring to book a table as our local pubs sometimes close on a Monday.
