Glencoe and Glen Etive Couples Session
We will take a little roadtrip through the landscapes of Glencoe and Glen Etive to the best spots for photos which means you will get to do some sightseeing too and go to some spots others can't find! I will have my car and you will follow me in your own transport to the beauty spots for photos. The whole experience will be roughly 3 hours depending on where we go. I will give you some guidance on poses but generally I love to keep it as natural as possible. It's just a small documentary of your trip to the highlands! Included in the price is an online gallery with your edited photos that are downloadable for use and shareable on social media. I will send this via email in roughly 2/3 weeks. Other things to note It's nice to wear something that compliments the environment you are in. Please don't hesitate to dress up if you want, if you need any hints or tips please message me! The weather is very changeable in the mountains but I do go out in all months, seasons and weathers. My top tips are wear sensible shoes, bring layers and in summer something for the midges if you need it.
Snuggle Special-Needs Sanctuary dogs
You will be welcomed at the Sanctuary by a myriad of barking, happy , tail-wagging special needs dogs. Having gone into the "airlock" [a double safety gate to prevent escapees] before climbing up to the office, the dogs will surround you with wags, wiggles and woofs Once the excitement has settled down a bit you will be able to sit at the picnic tables on the covered decking and have adorable Chihuahuas clambering on your knee, Labradors vying for attention and Gandalf our large Golden Doodledor [ mongrel ] watching the activities from his vantage point on another picnic table. The dogs love all the attention and whilst you are giving them hugs and cuddles I will tell all their stories of how they came to be at the Sanctuary and their special needs and treatments if any. If wanted a short tour of the other animals at the Sanctuary can be included or you can stay on the decking with the dogs and give them a brush or just snuggle with a Chihuahua in your jumper and a Rottie round your neck . Other things to note Warm, waterproof clothing and footwear; if doing more than the Dog Cuddle Experience suggest wellies as the fields may be muddy. Please don't have goodies for the animals as you WILL be mugged for them. They can be left at reception for later treats thanks

Whisky and Tales
Let us start by saying the whisky is optional, drink alternatives are available and the cost of the whisky is not included in the £14. We do this to make the event as inclusive as possible for drinker, non drinker, whisky lovers and whisky sceptics alike. The whisky or drink alternatives can be added on on the day. We meet just off the iconic Royal Mile inside a café/bar called Hot Toddy. We have the entire downstairs area reserved for us, ensuring lots of space for the group. During the course of two hours we will sample four outstanding Single Malt Scotch Whiskies from the four major whisky producing regions of Scotland. We will discus some of the history of Scotland and explore the reasons as to why whisky is now so ingrained as a staple of Scottish culture and we have some great tales from Scotland and the world of whisky to share with you. Other things to note This tour departs promptly and we can not wait for guests who are late. Feel free to turn up at Hot Toddy earlier to enjoy some food or drink before the event starts. People under the age of 18 are not permitted on this tour and exceptions can not be made I'm afraid.
Edinburgh Old Town Walking Tour
Come and join Nick Murray in a walking tour of the best sections of the Edinburgh Royal Mile where we will explore this historic street along with its winds & closes. We shall hear stories either Good, Bad or just plain Ugly which took place here throughout the ages including our own heroine, murderers, The Nastiness Act and wicked Witch Trials. And not forgetting the drug party discovery which changed the world for the better. I am a friendly local (& not an actor) and hope to make your visit to our amazing city even better by showing you bits which you probably won't see on your own. And with stories to help bring our fascinating history back to life.
Ben Nevis, Guided Hike, The UKs Highest Mountain
Mountain summits are not given, they are attempted. Ben Nevis is no different... The challenge of the mountains adds to the feeling of achievement when you reach your goal. Your chance of success on any mountain is greatly increased by having a guide. Lee from Not About The Summit will support you to achieve your ambition. We will attempt to summit the UKs highest mountain by it's 'voie royale', The Ben Path (aka The Pony Track). Despite it's name, this is a challenging walk, not to be underestimated but achievable by most. The weather on Ben Nevis is a common challenge. False peaks make it difficult to know how far is left to go. The North Face cliffs that plummet 610m from the summit pose a real threat in poor visibility and high winds. Despite the challenges, you will be in the safe hands with Lee from Not About The Summit. Lee is a guide based in the Highlands that explores new areas every week. In winter he is often walking down The Ben Path after a winter ascent of The North Face. Lee will inspire you with stories from adventures in the Highlands and beyond. He can recommend suitable places for you to explore after your attempt on The Ben. We will meet at the Ben Nevis visitors centre for a quick kit check and safety briefing before setting off up the mountain.
Climb Mallaig's Mountain, Sgurr Eireagoraidh
At the end of ‘The Road to The Isles’ there is a wilderness to be explored. The landscape here is rugged and known as ‘The Rough Bounds’. We will explore the lochs and hills local to Mallaig, taking in some stunning scenery and attempt to climb a 548m peak 'Sgurr Eireagoraidh' which offers spectacular views, both inland to the Highlands and West to the islands, the views are better than many a Munro! After making sure everyone is prepared for a day on the hill, we will soon be navigating through a rugged and remote landscape. As we depart Mallaig, I will share my knowledge of the area, to help you understand this quiet village at the end of the train line and end of the road! We will share in the growth offered by a challenging and interesting hill walk. You will develop an appreciation for the wilderness and remoteness that the highlands have to offer; leaving you in awe of the scale of this Big Country and inspired for the next challenge. Sgùrr Eireagoraidh, also known as Càrn a'Ghobhair (Goat Cairn) is one of the 573 Sub2000ers; these are the hills in Scotland that are known as the Marilyns below 2,000 feet, but with over 150m in prominence.
Bla Bheinn, the Blue Mountian
Bla Bheinn is ideal for people wanting a taste of the high mountains of Skye. Whether you are bagging the Munros or having a go at your first mountain in Scotland or Skye, a walk on Bla Bheinn is packed with interest; starting with lochs, waterfalls, leading to spectacular rock formations and views framed by them. Arrival at the mountain is breathtaking when you see it across Loch Slapin. It can be intimidating too, but rest assured your guide, Lee, knows the mountain and can lead you up a route suited to your abilities. Bla Bhein, pronounced ‘Blaven’ is an outlier of the Cuillin Ridge, at the opposite side of the Black Cuillin caldera. The Cuillin Ridge is known among mountaineers as ‘Alpine’ where you can find climbs as challenging as those of the Alps. Much of the Coullin Ridge is the terrain for experienced mountaineers. Our walks, including Bla Bheinn, are simply walks that get a bit steep. Any scrambling is always optional for those that want to have a try and Lee will keep you safe to ensure you can enjoy the landscape.
