One of the most unique churches in the area, and home to the best homemade mustard this beach-side Cathedral style Church is an amalgamation of contemporary artworks that were commissioned to use traditional techniques. Though a fairly closed community the people are very kind and offer tours daily. Off season you can often receive a tour outside of the schedule. Our tip – go visit but don't put down your email. - FREE -

Parks & Nature
One of Orleans' hidden gems this donated park originally had a house on it that was removed. The paths are well kept and loop around with wooded views of the water it makes for a nice walk through the woods and it event opens out onto a small beach. A town secret, be prepared to see dogs, as many locals like to walk pets here.

One of the best vistas in Orleans to see the tide run out, this bay side beach runs for miles at low tide with only inches of water. In the winter this makes for striking vistas of glacial ice resting on vast stretches of bare sand. Oyster grants are allowed access directly from the beach, and at low tide it is easy to walk out and see what local farmers are working on. An interesting thing to watch, be mindful of being a distraction as farmers only have as long as the tide to get their work done. - SUNSET -

Skaket Beach
One of the best vistas in Orleans to see the tide run out, this bay side beach runs for miles at low tide with only inches of water. In the winter this makes for striking vistas of glacial ice resting on vast stretches of bare sand. Oyster grants are allowed access directly from the beach, and at low tide it is easy to walk out and see what local farmers are working on. An interesting thing to watch, be mindful of being a distraction as farmers only have as long as the tide to get their work done. - SUNSET -

As the start of the longest uninterrupted coast line in the area, you can literally walk all the way to the tip of the Cape, Race Point in Provincetown, or find a spot to relax anywhere within miles of open sand. - SUNRISE -
To get to the beach that you have a wonderful winter vista of, just stroll down Cove Road, and enjoy the public dock. You can also see one of the Local Yacht Clubs.

Expect to see a rush at midnight, as the Lost Dog Pub is only just across the street. Not to worry overflow is seated in the restaurant. $$
