Small town hours of operation
Plan around restaurants, shops, and grocery stores closing early. Most of the businesses in Kanab are independently owned and operated by local families. This means almost everything closes by 9pm, and businesses may change their days/hours of operation at any given moment. Small town life comes with limited resources, but endless charm!

Night Life and Alcohol
There are no bars or clubs in Kanab, so be prepared to pack your own party! The Utah State Liquor Store is the only place to get wine and liquor in Kanab, open 12-7 M-Sa. There’s a border store in Fredonia, AZ that is open 11-8 everyday, where you can also get wine and liquor. You can pick from a variety of domestic and local beer/seltzers at Glazier’s Market, as well several gas stations around town. You can order beer at most restaurants in town, liquor and wine at Wild Thyme, Rocking V, Peekaboo, Vermillion 45, and Sego.
