Great museum, especially for children. The place isn't really big, so depending on how amazed your kids are, regarding nature, visiting the museum might take anywhere from one hour to around three.

If you came by car, Transfagarasan is worthy to be on your list. It's a one hour drive to get there, but the road is definitely worth it. Enjoy your day while driving on this road with an amazing view and take a short hiking trip from Balea Lake to the mountain ridge ( we suggest taking some hiking boots for this part and make sure you have water and some snacks with you ). End the day with a lunch at one of the restaurants located near Balea Lake.
